Completed in 1954, Lake Belton dams the Leon River and several other tributaries to form this beautiful 12,300 acres lake. With a maximum depth of 124 feet and normally clear water, Lake Belton’s shoreline of rockypoints and sand flats are a perfect habitat for Hybrid Stripers.

As of February 9, 2013, the elevation was 587.15. Normal elevation is 594. Releasing at 24 cfs.
